My new Singer desk lamp, the best present from my sis! It was made in the 1920's or 1930's, not sure yet. Beautiful, isn't it?! Love the wheel base, and the switch makes a great sound when you turn it. I'm in love!
It is soon to be united with a beautiful 1920's Singer sewing machine, also a present from my sis - I'm so spoilt! I have to go back to France to get it, it weighs over 20kg!!

Oh I love this!
Le chic :-) I have a vintage Sewing machine on my blog you should check out.
xo.
Thanks you both!
Sew obsessed, I know! It is a brilliant present, I'll go and thank my sis again!
Jenny, I saw the sewing machine on your blog (eventually, I'm away at the moment and my internet connexion is desperately slow!), what a find, it's beautiful!! My sister has one just like that too. Mine is of the same era but with a post-fitted motor, and it's the portable version (not so portable if you ask me!), it comes in a beautiful wooden box.
I'll post pictures when I get it home.
xx
